ONLINE CONSULTATION: TECHNOLOGY AND THE FUTURE OF HOME CARE

The National Research Council of Canada (NRC) has recently begun a process to identify areas of existing and developing technologies that could address some of the major barriers which limit the ability for seniors to remain living at home for as long as possible. Innovations in senior care, enabled by technology, are already changing the landscape of home care, but what's the next technology horizon?

The NRC invites organizations to participate in an online consultation process. Participation is voluntary. Feedback will not be anonymous; however, individual responses will be kept confidential within NRC. Aggregated results will be shared with all participants. Completion of the questionnaire should not take more than 20 minutes. The online tool will be available until August 26.

The results of this exercise will be used by NRC to identify challenges and opportunities where it could best support the future of home care. Questions about the initiative can be directed to [email protected].
