Copy/Fax/Print/Scan
No need to go out of town for copy and print services. The Cheshire Library has a public copy machine that makes both black & white and color copies and can scan documents to a flash drive or to email as well! We also have a self-service fax machine for sending documents.

SAT Preparation Seminar

Tuesday, August 23rd, 6:30pm 
Language arts tutor Ellis Ratner will identify sections of the test which have been changed and address changes in testing philosophy. Mr. Ratner's students consistently achieve 75 - 100 point increases in SAT scores. Paid for by the Friends of the Library
Stamping Class

Thursday, August 25th, 6pm 
Crafting ideas are endless with stamps: cards, fabric, scrapbooking etc. We'll provide the stamps, ink and paper. You may bring your own items to stamp. Please register for this adult program early as space is limited. Paid for by the Friends of the Library
How the Decline of Newspapers Hurts Us All

Tuesday, August 30th, 6:30pm 
Tracey O'Shaughnessy, award-winning columnist for the Waterbury Republican-American, will speak about newspapers and her new book Put the Kettle On: And Other Cultural Dislocations, which will be available for purchase, and signing. Paid for by the Friends of the Library.  
Hula Hoop Dance Fitness

Wed, August 31st, 6:30pm at Cheshire Park 
An upbeat, aerobic workout that mixes low-intensity & high-intensity moves for an interval-style, calorie-burning dance fitness party. We will be using specially designed & easy to use adult-sized hula hoops . Paid for by the Friends of the Library
Artsplace Fall Classes

Registration has begun!
Artsplace (1220 Waterbury Rd in Cheshire) Fall classes and workshops are now open for registration. There is something for everyone: kids, teens & adults. Don't miss out. Register today!

Margaret Anderson Memorial Garden Dedication
The family of Margaret Anderson recently met with representatives from the Friends of the Library to dedicate the memorial garden in front of the library. 

If you would like to contribute to Margaret's garden, we are in need of additional $147.00 for spring bulbs. Please help make the Cheshire Library an even more beautiful place to visit.
