Oil companies helping Iraq develop its massive oil fields have to clear their spending with the government each year. They are then repaid with income from Iraq's exports of crude oil produced from existing fields.
The arrangement worked smoothly when oil prices were above $100 a barrel but since crude has collapsed to about $40 a barrel, Iraq has been struggling to find enough oil to repay the companies for their investment.
Iraq relies on oil for nearly all its revenues and is spending heavily to fight Islamic State in its northern and western provinces.

Most people got married in June because they took their yearly bath in May, and still smelled pretty good by June. However, they were starting to smell, so brides carried a bouquet of flowers to hide the body odor. Hence the custom today of carrying a bouquet when getting married.
Baths consisted of a big tub filled with hot water. The man of the house had the privilege of the nice clean water, then all the other sons and men, then the women and finally the children. Last of all the babies. By then the water was so dirty you could actually lose someone in it. Hence the saying, Don't throw the baby out with the Bath water..

The sources confirmed in a press statement, that the new terminal will be located in the village of 'Azim' south of Kirkuk.

Aggiedad77: Ok, this was posted by WS...and highlighted by DB...(See article below) ..thanks to both of you.....this article IMO is HUGE.....HUGE.....it's telling us that not only has Iraq passed the financial crisis.....HUGE......but they have done so in a SUCCESSFUL way.....again HUGE......plus they are SCREAMING at us about the world's growing CONFIDENCE in Iraq......once more....HUGE.....
This has the ring of financial reform to it from top to bottom.....Rasheed and Rafadain Banks stepping up to offer loans......loans that will bring providing a productive economy through the transformative process that will allow for multi-resource production programs.....
It is this kind of kick start to the economic reforms that will help Iraq get a running start at other revenue sources besides oil.....HUGE....HUGE....
Its one of those TA-DA moments that Frank smiles about......it's being orchestrated right before our eyes......oh so.....oh so what.....you got it.....HUGE......IMO of course.

Yada: For what it is worth, this done and we are awaiting it to reach us. Those in position above us have /are being satisfied that is why the banks are highly expecting us any moment.
AJTexas: They did say it was going to get really quiet at the end!
Suggar: I think that things are in place however most if not all of the folk in the system are scared to death to make that first step.......they want to do a slow roll out but once it is released it will baloooooon... ....and it is that baloooooning that they fear......banks and governments...
Yada: Agreed they are hesitant to make an all out release so they are measuring every move before the next. That way they will of have to start over if there is a negative result. Have to admit the handlers are precautioned against every possible outcome. Even we dinarians are seeing previous ideas desolved because ideas are addressed. It is done and being released.
Yada: Interestingly. The measure of attention given to the process will be the measure of attention given in managing their wealth.
