To schedule a Wildlife by Design presentation, please contact your regional L.A.N.D.S. Outreach Educator for available dates and program topics.
 
Wildlife by Design programs are presentations delivered by our educators that spotlight wildlife and habitat conservation, all while bringing in hands-on, Science TEKS aligned K-8 resources and activities.  Each program offers multiple activities, lesson plans, and discussions possible for the classroom.

Presentation Topics: Skins & Skulls CSI, Let's Talk Turkey, Investigating Life Cycles & Where is Our Water? 
  • Each program is designed for a classroom-length period of time, approximately 30-60 minutes and for a group of 20-45 students.  
  • Each presentation date can include up to six (6) repeat programs.
  • DFW: Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Hood, Johnson, Kaufman, Parker, Rockwall, Tarrant, and Wise
  • Harris/Houston area: Brazoria, Chambers, Fort Bend, Galveston, Harris, Liberty, Montgomery, and Waller
  • South Texas (newly expanded area): Brooks, Cameron, Dimmit, Duval, Hidalgo, Jim Hogg, Kenedy, La Salle, Starr, Webb, Willacy, and Zapata

Stewarding Texas - A Scientific Exploration StewardingTexas
Stewarding Texas is a compilation of 40 lessons designed to develop an understanding of conservation and land stewardship within our youth.
