The Rethink Reno talent attraction campaign launched this month!  No longer just a gaming town, Reno has been reimagined and rebuilt! Beyond just a bustling downtown, eclectic restaurant scene, and abundant outdoor activities, Reno also boasts a thriving job market, short commute times and affordable housing. The campaign targets entrepreneurs, startups, skilled workers, and communities outside of the region; showcasing "Why Live & Work in Reno" and the available jobs via. a video series, website, an email campaign, social media ads, and billboards. Feel free to share the videos and utilize the website as a resource for your recruitment efforts!

The Nevada Center for Applied Research (NCAR) offers  central and public access to utilize a broad range of technical services, intellectual capital, testing and research capabilities, and advanced tools and methodologies through NCAR's shared research facilities. This allows community entrepreneurs, industries, small businesses, students, faculty, and alumni to utilize equipment that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive. Congrats to Flirtey, a local Reno Startup, who made the  1st inflight drone delivery in partnership with 7-Eleven.  And yes, it included donuts and a cold slurp ee! The drone delivery generated a lot of national press for Flirtey & Reno; featured in  Good Morning America ,  Bloomberg , and  Forbes , just to name a few.

Flirtey is the premier independent drone delivery service. Their mission is to save lives and change lifestyles by making delivery instant.
