PowerSchool Parent Authorizations
The Parent Portal is now open for you to complete the online Enrollment & Student Information Forms. Please take a few minutes to update your contact information, emergency contacts, authorized pickup, FERPA, SCOC, Student Handbook, etc.

: Regarding the Release of Directory Information for School Use:
In order for your child's picture to appear in the Yearbook, you should answer "YES".
School Pictures
Order forms for school pictures will be distributed in English classes today. Click PICS to view the flyer. Please be aware of the following:
- Pre-pay: a pre-pay gallery has been setup for those who wish to go ahead and take care of it. You cannot see any images, it's just a pre-pay option.
- Parents can also return the flyer & payment with their student on picture day.
- Images will be uploaded by next Monday, August 29th for online ordering.
- All orders received by September 6 have the option of having their order returned to the school for the student to bring home.
- Orders placed after September 6th will need to pay for mailing.
The schedule for school pictures is as follows:
- Tuesday, August 23rd - Seniors
- Wednesday & Thursday, August 24th & 25th - Underclassmen
- Wed - Anderson, Brown, Loyd, Olsen, Shaw, most of Todd, Ward,
- Thurs - Arriaga, Eairheart, Lentz, Moore, and Todd (2nd period)
- English teachers will also notify their students which day they are scheduled for
- School Pictures are being taken in the LHS Main Gym Lobby.

Pre-sale tickets are on sale now at the LHS School Store during office hours through 1:00 PM on Friday.
All pre-sale tickets are $8.00 for both students and adults.
Children age 5 and younger are admitted FREE.
Online Tickets
If you'd like to buy tickets in a bundle of 5 tickets for $40 + tax & fees, the Gridiron Booster Club is providing online ticket sales.
Please go to http://www.lovejoyfootball.com/ then click on Pay Pal.
You'll need to pick up these tickets from the booster club at one of their designated times:
A) Friday at the Lovejoy Multipurpose Building (Indoor Field), 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
B) Saturday at the Gridiron Tailgate at the game, 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm.
If you buy the 5 ticket bundle from the booster club, your name will be included in a raffle for a chance to win a Roger Staubach helmet. Click HELMET for more details.

All tickets at the gate on August 27 are $10.00.

9th Grade / New Parent Meeting

LHS Open House
Please join us for the LHS Open House taking place on Monday, September 12th from 6:30 - 8 pm. There will be a 10th Grade Parent Meeting from 6 - 6:30 pm in the LHS Main Gym to start the evening.
Junior Cheer Camp
The LHS Cheerleaders are hosting their annual Junior Leopard Mini Cheer Camp for kids 4years through 4th grade! Come and join the LHS cheerleaders on October 8th to learn cheers, chants, and jumps! Student Recognition
LHS Tennis
The rain held off just long enough last week to allow the LEOPARDS to secure their first TEAM victory! They finished 17-1 against Frisco Heritage without dropping a doubles match. Tomorrow, they travel to Highland Park for their first district match.
Recent Matches
Last Wednesday, they were winning 6 out of 7 doubles matches against Corsicana before the rain started.
Last Thursday, they were winning 7-1 against Frisco Wakeland before the rain got 'em.
Last Friday, they were up 17-1 and the only match they had not finished was #3 girls' doubles.
