Loving God, we pray for our church the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. By your Holy Spirit direct and guide churchwide assembly gathering this week in Pittsburgh. Lead our church, pastors and bishops, and all leaders, with the peace and love that comes only from you, for the sake of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

Hear us, O God.

Kiatcha (Dahle) Lie is turning 90 on July 28.  She was born in Brevig Mission on July 28, 1923 to Rev. Elmer and Ingeborg Dahle.  She was also baptized at Brevig Memorial.  She was confirmed at Shishmaref Lutheran. Rev. Dahle has the longest record of work among Inupiat villages of any Lutheran minister, beginning in 1921. Kiatcha is a member of Shepherd of the Valley, Juneau.
