Move-in Day
The typical first-year student move-in day begins at 9 a.m. on Friday, August 19. Everyone moving in on that day will go directly to their assigned residence hall to pick up their keys and check in for Fall Orientation. When you arrive to campus, you'll see staff and signs directing you to buildings, so just follow their lead. If you live in Bica-Ross, Shields or Hoiles-Peterson halls, you will actually report to the Hoover-Price Campus Center (HPCC) to pick up your key. There will also be members of some student organizations there to help you unload, so take advantage of them!

For those of you who need to move in early (see the list of approved early move ins below),
you will pick up your key from your coach, director, or the HPCC Information Desk between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on the day you are able to move onto campus. If you have questions about that, please contact your coach, director, or the Office of Residence Life at (330) 823-7288.

Textbooks
As the school year is quickly approaching, it's time to start purchasing all of your necessary class materials - including textbooks. Follow these stress-free step-by-step instructions and cross "purchasing textbooks" off of that college to-do list! Make sure your class schedule is nearby.
  1. Visit The University Store website.
  2. Click on the "Textbooks: Buy or Rent" link at the top.
  3. Click on "Begin Price Comparison".
  4. Refer to your class schedule and select the correct term name, department, course and section for each of your classes.
  5. Once all of your classes are listed in the Course List, click on the green "Compare Prices on These Course Materials" button.
  6. Browse through the lists to compare the University Store prices vs. prices on the web!
  7. Click "Add to Cart" next to the textbook you would like.
  8. Click "Checkout" to review your selected textbooks.
  9. Follow the checkout procedure.
  10. Make sure to select whether you would like to pick up your textbooks at the University Store or have them mailed to your home address!
Parking and Security
Are you planning to have a car on campus? Check out all the information about parking and vehicles on campus, and be sure to fill out the online form to register your car. There is no fee to register your car at Mount Union, but be sure to get familiar with the parking regulations so you don't get a ticket!

It is encouraged that all students put the Campus Safety and Security number (330-428-1344) in their phones. You can quickly check this off your list before Fall Orientation!
College Credit Plus Transcript Request
If you are intending to bring in credit from a college credit plus program you will need to order an official transcript from the college or university that awarded the credit. The transcript must be sent to the Office of Admission.
