Feast to the Beat, August 13Feast1

Feast to the Beat comes to Cleveland August 13th to celebrate our National Parks and National History!

This unique road trip is touring the country celebrating our American roots, food and music.

The Tour hits Cleveland on Saturday, August 13, from 11 AM to 5 PM at Hart Crane Park. (get directions)

  • 10:00 AM there will be an Ohio City Bike Co-Op social ride (get details)
  • 11:15 AM, Marcus Alan Ward will perfom at Jam in the Van
  • 11:30 AM, cooking demo from Chef Jamie Gwen
  • 11:30 AM, shuttle service to Canal Basin Park and the Red Line Greenway begins
  • Noon to 2PM there will be stand-up paddleboards available from NALU, next door at Merwin's Wharf
  • Noon, Canal Basin Park Take a Hike Tour
  • 12:45 PM, Shivering Timbers will perfom at Jam in the Van
  • 1:15 PM Raffle
  • 1:30 PM, cooking demo from Chef Jamie Gwen
  • 1:45 PM, Wesley Bright & the Honeytones will perform at Jam in the Van
  • 2:00 PM, skateboard demos at the Crooked River Skatepark featuring team riders from Tri-Star Skateboards and West Side Skates
  • 2:00 PM, Canal Basin Park Take a Hike Tour
  • 2:15 PM Raffle
  • 2:30 PM, cooking demo from Chef Jamie Gwen
  • 2:45 PM, The Lawsuits will perform at Jam in the Van
  • 3:00 PM there will be public rows by the Cleveland Rowing Foundation, ahead of their 2016 Bow Ball, 5:00 PM at Merwin's Wharf
  • 3:30 PM Raffle
  • 3:30 PM, shuttle service to Canal Basin Park and the Red Line Greenway ends
  • 3:45 PM, Honeybucket will perform at Jam in the Van 

Cooking Demoscooking

Our culinary showcase will feature cooking demos by  Chef Jamie Gwen  who will bring a personal take on cooking an outdoor feast, based on a menu of locally-inspired recipes.




Music by Jam in the Vanvan

Music will be provided by Jam in the Van, a rolling solar-powered state-of-the-art recording studio, which will feature 5 of Cleveland's brightest local talents who will record 3-song sets, complete with video.
