Gearing up for the 2016 Rodman Ride for Kids

Mark your calendars: September 24, 2016!  Each year, Big Brothers Big Sisters participates in  The Rodman Ride for Kids , an umbrella matching gift charity that generously raises funds for organizations that support at-risk kids across Massachusetts. We recruit individuals and teams to fundraise on our behalf and ride 25, 50, or 100 miles at the event on September 24th. We are currently recruiting teams and riders! Contact  Jackie  with any questions if you are interested in getting involved!

Big Brothers Big Sisters C.A.R.E.S.

We are excited to announce a new partnership  with two statewide programs that will help form  BBBS C.A.R.E.S. , our new assistance program designed to support our most at-risk and vulnerable Littles and their families. BBBS C.A.R.E.S. will include our new partnership with  Cradles to Crayons , a nonprofit agency whose mission includes the provision of clothing, books, and other essential items to low-income children and their families. Additionally, we have partnered with the Axuda program, a nonprofit initiative from the DCU Foundation. Axuda is a crowd-funded platform whereby families in emergency situations can apply for no-interest loans (up to $600) to address emergency situations.

Take Your Little to Work Day

Bigs from Hanover Insurance Group had the opportunity to bring their Littles to visit them at work. The group had a great time exploring the office space, and the Littles enjoyed learning more about what their Bigs do at work! Special thanks to the Hanover Insurance Group for hosting our Littles!

If you have pictures of you and your Little having a great time together, we'd love to see them!
