As promised, this month we have started with weekly talks in the evenings - Spiritual Evening.

These evenings are hosted by people who are expert in their field; and prepared to share their knowledge with us.

Last week we were honoured with Claudia Klein as she shared her knowledge of Hypnotherapy.  A very informative and interesting evening.

Time 7pm.  Talk starts at 7:30pm sharp ending around 9:00pm.  Followed by refreshments and a chat.

Relationships 101

Since the inception of Smile 90.4 FM in March 2013, Barry has been the weekly guest of the Love Doctor . . . Mehboob Bawa . . . and linked to the Love Lounge on the Smile 90.4 FM Facebook page.

He used the pincode to analyse love and work relationships, and to give listeners an insight into the dynamic at play in those relationships. Both, love relationships with partners and with children were analysed and the insight provided was totally amazing in its accuracy and helpfulness in promoting understanding.

How to Deal with Grief

My journey with grief started on 6 January 2006. We found my eldest son, Eugene, in his bed, dead. The chaos and trauma unimaginable. We found a support group, The Compassionate Friends, and later I became the Chapter Leader of the Cape Town branch.  At the support group I have dealt with hundreds of parents, sibling and loved ones with their grief journey. I think my journey and the support to others grieving gives me the courage to speak about death, deing and grief with compassion and passion as I know this is were we grow.
Looking forward to give you some insights to grief and bring the questions you are normally resisting to ask about grief and death.
