Online Steps to Speed Up Griz Biz

RMS PTSA

There are a few things you can do in advance of arriving at the school on Tuesday or Wednesday, August 23rd & 24th to save you time.

Order your child's school photos online at mylifetouch.com (Pictured Day ID LS116814Q0)

Log in to the school district Parent Access page and update your student's emergency
information, make payments, and add funds to their Breakfast and Lunch account.

Join the PTSA website and the PTSA. Registration on the PTSA website is free. While you're there check out our current Volunteer Opportunities.

Even if you don't plan to join the PTSA or the website please do stop by the PTSA table a Griz
Biz Days. We're helping the school's family and community partnership efforts by managing the parent education voting process. Stop in and let your voice be heard.

Help Wanted!

RMS is looking for volunteers to help with their Griz Biz days. This is the day students get their picture ID, pick up paperwork, purchase yearbooks and generally take care of other Back to School business. Volunteers are needed to cover several stations.

If you can help at all - even an hour or two, please either email Lisa Wheeler

or go the RMS PTSA webpage to sign up.

RMS PTSA

Join the Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) by September 1st, and be entered to win a Mandarin Orange Body Care Kit and Light Spa Party generously donated by Lemon Grass Spa consultant Kristina McCrady.

Individual memberships are $15, Family (2-adult) memberships are $25, and staff memberships are $10. You can join online or at Griz Biz Days.

Volunteering at Redmond Middle School - Step 1

RMS Staff, ASB, & PTSA

Complete your Lake Washington School District (LWSD) volunteer application.

All LWSD volunteers must go through a screening process, for the safety of students and volunteers alike. Adult family members fill out their volunteer application at the school or through the secure Parent Access site.

Complete information about the process and directions are available at http://www.lwsd.org/Parents/Parent-Access/Pages/Online-Volunteer-Application.aspx.

This application requires renewing every two years.

Interested in earning extra money?

Nutrition Services currently has a paid position available to help serve your students at Redmond Middle.

Nutrition Services Worker - Food Service Worker General,
6.5 hours in length, $10.06/hour paid.

Fall Sports Registration

RMS ASB

Fall sports paperwork is due by Wednesday, September 7th. All students planning to participate in cross country, badminton, or boys tennis should have a sports physical completed by the regular doctor or local clinic in advance of the paperwork deadline. The physical paperwork is available on the district website. Have questions about fall sports? Ask them in person at Griz Biz Days August 23rd or 24th.

You DO NOT need to be a PTSA member to subscribe to Bear Tracks, it is FREE to all families and staff in the Redmond Middle School community.
