Shared Sunday service with All Saints Lutheran this Sunday at 10:30 am
This Sunday, August 21,
we will jointly celebrate our worship and fellowship with All Saints Lutheran at the Blue Springs City park at 19th and McArthur St. at the 10:30 service.
This will be an opportunity to share in our common liturgies and see friends from around our neighborhood. This is also a kick-off for our fall programs and we will celebrate with a potluck and fun in the park following the service. In case of inclement weather, check the church website at www.episcopal-bluesprings
.org
for information.
We will still celebrate Rite I Eucharist in the nave at 8:00 am.

Inquirers Class to start in September
On Sunday, September 11, after each service, we will have a planning session for starting an "inquirers" class that is designed for those new to the Episcopal Church or interested in knowing more about the Episcopal Church, to learn about our faith tradition and to understand the "what's and why's" of our practices.
The classes will meet for about an hour on days most people can attend. So if you are wondering what it means to be an "Episcopalian", and what the Anglican-Episcopal tradition is all about . . . these classes will be for you!
Those of age groups from high school and beyond are encouraged to attend.
Inquiring minds are most welcome. Look for more information to come during the month. Please feel free to e-mail or call Fr. David with any questions.
