What spiritual principles are most important to you? Which Universal laws do you feel have made the most difference on your inner journey? Have you taken time lately to access and appreciate the truths that are most meaningful to you? Are you aware of how you are using these truths in the day-to-day of life? When we do such important self-assessments, it shouldn't be for the purpose of self-criticism or judgment, but rather to become even more aware of the spiritual path that we walk.
This Sunday we will talk about Unity's five principles with an emphasis on the fifth: "Knowing and understanding the laws of life, also called Truth, are not enough. A person must also live the truth that she or he knows."
We hope you can join us, in body or in spirit, this Sunday. Favorite Athens musicians John Miley (guitar) and Dan Roth (keyboards) will perform.

SATURDAY Yoga Class
We're delighted that Maleah Fretwell will be leading yoga at Unity Athens! Her class meets every other Saturday with the next one scheduled for August 27, 10:30 to noon. The suggested offering

CommUnity Movies paused for the summer; they resume on Sept. 11 at 4:00 with the showing of
Hector and the Search for Happiness
. (2 hour film) Cost is $5.00
OMG! Over 100 gently loved, used books have been donated to our bookstore this month! Check it out before or after Sunday services or on study group or event days. Most books are under $5. Great titles from Deepak Chopra, Marianne Williamson, Eckhart Tolle, Eric Butterworth, Doreen Virture, and many more! We also have a selection of new books, included texts used in classes and book groups.
Book Study groups are gearing up for autumn! A Thursday evening group (6:30 to 8:00) is now in the planning stages and first meeting will be on September 15. The book will be Eric Butterworth's
IN THE FLOW OF LIFE and will be available from our bookstore. An on-line group is also being set up for those who are not able to attend in person. Stay tuned for other classes, groups, and events for fall.
