SEPTEMBER ROUNDTABLE
Roundtable - Stay informed
Please join your fellow Scouters for our  great night of Scouting, fun & fellowship!

Westlake Hills Presbyterian Church
7127 Bee Caves Road
Thursday, September 8
Cracker Barrel starts at 6:45 PM

Cub Scouts: we would love to have every Webelos Den Leader, Assistant Webelos Leader and Cubmaster come to learn about this year's Webelos Woods - and how to get the most from this event for all your Webelos Scouts and parents.

Boy Scouts: we will focus on Wood Badge! If you've been, come share a story about your Ticket and how it shaped you and your Unit. Remember those fond memories of Patrol Projects, crazy songs and skits, and cows? If you haven't been, come to get a better understanding of this fantastic training course. No course secrets shall be revealed for the sake of future participants, but let's share together in the impact Wood Badge has made on our Units, District and Council!

Unit Recharter Leaders : calling all "URL's" - it's Charter Renewal Time! This is the big kickoff for this year's adventure in making your roster, checking it twice, and getting everything signed and turned in by November 30! The Internet Recharter Window opens on October 1, so don't miss this Roundtable!

PATH TO EAGLE
Over the past six months, we have had a steady increase in Life Scouts starting their Eagle projects.  It takes about a year for an average Scout to progress from Eagle project (Added) to Eagle board of review (Graduated).  It is good to see the numbers increase.  It shows the prospect of a healthy growth of Eagle Scouts in the district.

For all our Boy Scout parents, leaders and Scouts, you will want to check out the "Path to Eagle" course during our MegaTraining Day on September 17. No tests, but lots and lots of information from experienced Scouters on how the process works. This is one of our most popular events every year. Check it out at:
