FESTIVAL INFORMATION
8:00am - 5:00pm - Saturday, November 5th

DEADLINE TO REGISTER - Monday, October 24th
Spaces are sold throughout the year and locations are assigned in the order applications are received.  Application

Art & Craft:  Space is 10x12.  $75.00 non Chamber member, $35.00 Chamber member.   Handmade, handcrafted, no buy and sale.  

Non-Craft Specialty Items: Space size is 10x12.  $75.00 non Chamber member, $35.00 Chamber member  We try to limit the non-craft specialty items and only have one vendor of each non-craft. Example - we would not have two tupperware booths.  Non-craft specialty items include specialty items, pre-packaged items (sealed), items that cannot be found in a retail store.  Collectibles and Antiques are allowed.

Food Court:  Spaces are limited to 15.  Space size is 12x14. $300.00 non Chamber member, $200.00 Chamber member.  We have a designated food court area.  The fee covers your food permit for the day.  Food is to be prepared on site.  We only have 6 spaces left...!

Children's Activities:  Children's Activities now closed.  We have sold all of our assigned spaces...!

We sell spaces throughout the year.  They are assigned as the applications arrive - on a first come request basis...

WIN CASH PRIZE FOR BEST ENTRY - BEST THEME - BEST DECORATIONS
WIN $200.00 for 1st Place   WIN $100.00 for 2nd Place   WIN $50.00 for 3rd Place

Help make this the BEST PARADE the Deer Festival has seen in all 50 years...!!!  We are looking for best decorated float, best themed float, and best overall entry.   
Lights - music - decorations....ready set, go!             Deadline to enter is October 31st

50 YEARS OF LOCAL ARTISTS...our stage has included Grammy Award Winning Singer Trisha Yearwood, and Country Music Award Winning Singer Jason Aldean...both from Jasper County!

2016 HEADLINER BAND: Backwoodz Branded  3:30pm - 5:00pm

Looking for local talent...!  singers - bands - cloggers - dance teams

TRAIL CAM PHOTO CONTEST
Trail Cam Photo Contest:  submit your trail cam photos to [email protected] or post them on the Deer Capital Facebook page - www.facebook.com/deercapital.

A weekly photo will be submitted to the Monticello News.  The winner will be announced (the photo with the most votes) at the Deer Festival and they will receive a new Trail Cam.   The Trail Cam contest is sponsored by The Monticello News and Southern Edge Realty.

50th Annual Deer Festival PAGEANT
Sunday - October 23, 2016

We are looking for our former Deer Festival Queens and Little Miss Fawns. 
You are invited to ride in the parade on a float featuring 50 years of Queens
 and 17 years of Little Fawns.  Please contact the Chamber of Commerce and give us your address and email address.  

We would like to express our appreciation to Norton Packaging for their generous donation.... a $500.00 scholarship to the 2016-2017 Queen
