Flathead Beacon Grizzly bears made it to the Sweet Grass Hills last week. That's pretty remarkable, seeing as the Hills are about 100 miles east of the Rocky Mountain Front out on the Great Plains.

Flathead Beacon - A wildlife advocacy group has filed notice that it intends to sue the U.S. government for failing to act on petitions to protect more than 400 plants and animals under the Endangered Species Act.

Standard Journal "This is a critical region for wildlife connectivity," says Y2Y's Kim Trotter. "If we can decrease collisions on Route 20, it's a vital step toward maintaining connectivity on a continental scale."

CBC Officials in Banff National Park say deterring wildlife from becoming conditioned to human food is top of mind, after nine bears had to be killed in the Revelstoke area in a one-week period.
