Rex A. Dudas  1958 - 2016 

Rex A. Dudas, age 57, of Orrville, died Tuesday, August 16, 2016, at University Hospital in Cleveland, following a battle with cancer.

Rex was born on September 9, 1958, in Wadsworth, Ohio, to the late Lewis and Bernice (Lutz) Dudas, graduated from Wadsworth High School, class of 1976, and earned an Associate Degree in Computer Science from the University of Akron.   He married his best friend since 3rd grade, Connie L. McClure, on July 11, 1980, in Tyler, TX.   Connie survives.

He worked as a network engineer for First Energy in Akron for the last 31 years.

Rex was a member of Evangel Assembly of God in Wooster.   He enjoyed motorcycle trips with his son, Ben, and was an avid golfer and former club champion at the Hawk's Nest Golf Course.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Connie, are his son, Ben Dudas of Durham, NC; daughter, Robyn Dudas of Medina;  grandchildren, Leo and Lyra Dudas-Kane; two brothers, Dick (Michele) Dudas of CO and Jack (Elise) Dudas of FL; sister, Diane Hohn of Wadsworth;  and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.

A celebration of life gathering will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Evangel Assembly of God (EV4), 1633 Portage Road, Wooster, from 3:00 to 5:00 pm.
