BPA General Meeting Sept 13th
Tues, Sept 13 at 7:30 pm in the BHS Library is the first BPA General Meeting of the school year!  We will hear from our Booster Board President Mara Lim as well as an update from all of the Directors.

9/28 & 10/5  at BHS Field from 6- 8pm and 10/7 is

Fri, Oct 7 vs Garfield. Call time TBD. This is the  Ballard Homecoming Game - Marching Band Halftime Performance on the field.  You don't want to miss this!

Leavenworth 
Autumn Leaf Parade
The BHS Marching Band will be performing in Leavenworth at the Autumn Leaf Festival parade on Sat, Sept 24th. Call time at BHS is 6am.


Hello Ballard Performing Arts Families!  

We are excited and looking forward to a fantastic 2016 - 2017 school year of wonderful music and amazing theatre. Some important dates, links and information to note are included in this summer BPA Newsletter, so be sure to mark your calendars. See you all in September!


Jazz Band Auditions
Auditions will occur on Aug 29 from 2-6pm, Aug 30 from 2-7pm and Sept 6 (families previously out of town) from 2-5pm.  The audition consists of 4 specific parts

Mandatory Uniform Fittings
We still need volunteers - both parents and students (service hours) to help with start of the year uniform fittings.  No experience is necessary so please consider helping out.

Please use the SignUp Genius to find a day and time that works for your schedule. Sign up for a long or short shift. If you have any questions at all please contact Jill Hansen as soon as possible at 206-931-8846.

Uniform Fitting Details
All returning Marching Band students, Orchestra and Choir girls must try on their uniforms on Thursday, Sept 1 between 9:00 - 12:00. Freshman students must get fitted between 12:00 - 3:00pm after their Orientation.

Friday, Sept 2 there will be uniform fittings from 9 - 1pm for students who missed the uniform fittings on Sept 1.

Fittings for Men's Concert Wear (all groups) is on Tuesday, September 13 from 3:00 - 5:30 pm. 

Program Packets Were Mailed Home
Welcome Packets were mailed to BPA families last week.
The packets contain important documents, as well as a list of upcoming events, annual, camp and program fees & due dates and a list of volunteer and student opportunities. We ask that you read, complete and return as soon as possible. You can also download the packets on the BPA Website.

Please return your signed paperwork ASAP. Have your student drop it off at the Main Office or you can bring it to either the Parent or Freshman Orientation, to the Uniform Fittings or mail to the PO Box listed below.

Also please make your payments for these upcoming camps NOW!  You can drop off a check made out to BPA or Pay On-line through Greater Giving.  Parents we need students paperwork & payments on time to make these important trips and events happen. THANK YOU!
