If you have ever considered helping a child in need, the United Methodist Children' s Home needs your help! Please consider babysitting, respite care and/or fostering a child today. Dunwoody UMC is hosting an information & orientation session on   August 31st. We are looking for the right persons to start the process impacting the life of a child ... whatever that should be. Every individual is different, every family is different, but there are hundreds of children that need YOUR difference in their lives right now. Please contact Denise Peacock at the Children's Home at [email protected] or Marilyn Mraz, SUMC at [email protected]

DunwoodyUMC is offering a meal at 5:30 as their guests and they are also providing child care.   The session will run from 6:00 to 7:30.   For planning purposes, it is important to let either Denise or Marilyn know so reservations can be made for the meal and babysitting.

We Need YOUR Help!

The Prayer Warriors are almost completely out of prayer shawls to give to the precious members and friends that are going through a difficult time and need prayer. We use the shawls to remind them that they are being prayed for on a weekly basis in our Prayer Warriors ministry.

We need shawls for men and women, young and old!! If you can minister in this way please contact Jann Roeder. We have some funds to help you to purchase the yarn.

Thanks so much for all you do!!
