Dear e-Fisherfolk,
September is here and it's Keith's birthday month. Exactly what day is his birthday? He's not telling, but if you want to find out, you can 'Friend' him on Facebook. Keith is new to FB and is a bit overwhelmed, even before his birthday. He has noticed that FB  seems to know a lot about everybody's birthday. Anyway, the weather is lovely and in honor of it being his birthday month, Keith decided to do some Spring cleaning. True, it's a bit late as Spring was about 6 months ago, but he has an excuse! We've been busy this summer. How busy? Since June 1, we have driven through 30 states. That's a busy summer! While 'Spring Cleaning', he found some photos from years gone by, many birthday's ago. We haven't changed a bit.

There are two big music and art festivals on our calendar in the next couple of months. Trout Fishing in America and Dana Louise & the Glorious Birds will be playing at both of them. From September 8-10 we will be in Taos, NM for Michael Hearne's Big Barn Dance Music Festival. That title is a mouthful to say, but it's only fitting as the number of incredible, awesome, fabulous, and ultra-talented
 musical acts is stunning. You NEED to check it out! October 7 & 8, we return to Shreveport, LA for the Red River Revel. Talk about a mouthful to say... Try saying Red River Revel three times quickly. Now try it without sounding like Elmer Fudd. We've been playing at the Revel off and on since the early 1980's. Great art! Great music! Great food! It's Louisiana, what do you expect? And don't forget about the Grand Prairie, TX releasing of the Monarch butterflies on Sept 24th and the Thrasher Opera House on Sept 30th. Trout and Dana Louise will be there also!

Keith has chosen Sept 18th at the Eureka Springs House Concert (at the UU Church in Eureka Springs, AR) to be his official, unofficial birthday celebration. No, September 18 is NOT his official birthday, so it can't be his official celebration. Stop trying to pry that information out of us! See FB! This is a very cool concert series (the Grimwoods are season ticket holders) run by our good friend, Nancy Paddock. We will be videoing the show. It's a great excuse to visit Eureka Springs. See you there!
