Help Your Girl Scout Sisters Who Flooded!

Help replace Girl Scout uniforms and supplies for Girl Scout troops affected by the flooding
in southeast Louisiana.

If you would like to help Girl Scout troops and individual Girl Scouts who
lost their uniforms, books, and/or meeting supplies due to the flooding,
consider purchasing a gift card for use in our Council shops which will be distributed to troops/girls in need. 

We request that Girl Scout uniforms be purchased through either of our
shops and not sent here from other areas of the country, as our Council
shops in Baton Rouge and New Orleans did not sustain damage and
have full inventories, ready for the rush of fall recruitment.  This will also
allow the girls to shop here locally, where they will be better able to
select the correct size, books, etc.

If your Girl Scouts would like to send notes of encouragement to our troops, they may be mailed to 
Girl Scouts Louisiana East, Regional Service Center, 545 Colonial Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.  They may be scanned and shared via our social media pages. 

If your troop was affected by the flooding with loss of uniforms, books, etc. and would like to be a recipient of shop gift cards, please contact Dawn Allen at dallen@gsle.org or 504-355-5868. The amount of assistance we can give is dependent
on the generosity of our donors.
