Business Community Meets Piedmont's New Leader
Piedmont Medical Center's new CEO, spoke to an audience of over 90 business and community leaders at the Chamber's Power Luncheon, held at the City Club of Rock Hill on August 17. Following an introduction from David Angel, president of Angel Insurance & Financial Services as well as the presenting spons or of the program, Talbert spoke about his past, but more about his future and the future of Piedmont Medical Center.

In his presentation, Talbert stressed the importance of building relationships within the York County community. He discussed how Piedmont Medical Center supports economic development in Rock Hill and York County, through their effort to provide more employment opportunities, reinvesting locally for services, and giving to local charities.

September 13: Fort Mill & Tega Cay State-of-the-Community Breakfast
Join local business leaders and community representatives for an informative event providing detailed updates from local government leaders about activities and initiatives related to area business communities of Fort Mill and Tega Cay.  Presented by Piedmont Medical Center and the Chamber's Fort Mill/Tega Cay Area Council, the event will be held on Tuesday, September 13 at the Glennon Center from 7:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Featured speakers include Mayor of Fort Mill, Guynn Savage; Mayor of Tega Cay, George Sheppard; Fort Mill School District Superintendent, Chuck Epps; and other local representatives.
