Happy Wednesday, ReStore
Shoppers and Friends!
Thank you to the Ladies of Zeta Theta Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. for their continued support of HFHSC and Women Build.

You know about the ReStore and what we do to keep items out of landfills, you know we make homeownership affordable for those in Summit County, but do you know about Women Build?

It's not about separating men,

it's about empowering women.

Women Build is Habitat for Humanity's program for women who want to learn construction skills and build homes and communities. This program brings together women from all walks of life to address the housing crisis facing millions of women and children worldwide. No experience is necessary!

This year, Women Build Week began Saturday, May 2 and goes through Saturday, May 9. On Saturday, May 9 the Ladies of Zeta Theta Omega Chapter, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. will sponsor our own Women Build celebration.

There are many ways to get involved with Habitat for Humanity of Summit County: volunteering at a build site, being part of an event committee or supporting your favorite ReStore. To learn more ways on how you can get involved and make a difference in the Summit County community, call the Habitat offices at 330-745-7734.

See you tomorrow!

Newly EXTENDED ReStore Hours

After going over the responses from the survey we sent out a few weeks ago, there was one thing customers wanted most from the Summit County ReStore.

Well, I am happy to announce that the Summit County ReStore will have EXTENDED HOURS!

The new Summit County ReStore hours will be:

Thursday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Friday: 8:00 am - 6:00 pm

Saturday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

We're going to give the above hours a try and hope everything works out for the best.

So tell your parents, siblings, cousins, friends and co-workers: the Summit County ReStore is open later!
