Have your heard about our Deconstruction Program?

Another way Habitat is helping to revitalize neighborhoods

What is Deconstruction and Demolition?

Deconstruction is the removal of building materials for the purpose of re-use or recycle. Whether you're remodeling a kitchen or bath or demolishing a home or office, the Habitat for Humanity of Summit County Deconstruction Team can save you time and money by handling the deconstruction, demolition and removal of building materials and accessories.

How does Deconstruction help the community?
  • It generates funds to help build more Habitat for Humanity homes for those in need in Summit County.
  • It reduces landfill materials generated from remodeling and demolition projects.
  • It provides affordable building supplies to the public through the ReStore.

So don't forget us when you go to demolish or remodel. Contact the Habitat office for an evaluation of the project and to determine costs.

For more information or to schedule an appointment, Charlie Livengood at 330-745-7734 x 206.

Habitat for Humanity ReStore accepts donated goods for resale. Proceeds from the

ReStore help Habitat for Humanity fund the construction of local homes for local families.
