WASC Accreditation

On July 3, 2016 the Accrediting Commission for Schools, Western Association of Schools and Colleges (ACS WASC) determined that St. Bernard’s Catholic School met the criteria for accreditation and decided to grant our school Six-Year Accreditation Status through June 30, 2022. We should all be proud of this great accomplishment! Thank you to our pastor, principal, faculty, staff, parents, and students for their contributions to this outstanding recognition. It is evident that St. Bernard’s Catholic School is committed to ongoing improvement on student learning and spiritual growth. Congratulations to all!

Choir Beginning on August 26, we will be starting the Choir for the 2016-2017 school year.  This year the choir will be open to grades 4 through 8.  Rehearsals will be on Fridays from 7:30 to 8:15 a.m.  Please sign up by filling out the participation flyer that is available in the school office.

Hot Lunch Online

All orders must be completed online.  Click on the link below to place your order. Breakfast: $3.25 Lunch: $4.25 Additional main course: $1.00 Please pay by one of the following methods: Paypal, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express Order Breakfast & Lunch Here   Please keep in mind the following: For breakfast, students may purchase items at the window, but not the breakfast of the day. For lunch, students will not be able to buy the lunch of the day at the window. If students forget their lunch or do not have a lunch, they will get something to eat and charged later. Thank you for your cooperation.

Microwave Information If you plan on sending lunch to be heated, we ask you to please do not send plastic containers, frozen meals, or hot pockets. Every child gets only 1 minute to heat up their food. We also do not provide utensils. This program will only be able to continue if parents abide by the rules, and if the number of students using the microwaves remains low. Long lines interfere with our lunch and recess schedule, so we encourage you to purchase hot lunch or send a cold lunch with your child. Thank you for your help with this matter.

PTC Corner

Chair People Needed The following events are in need of a chairperson: Family Night: March 3rd (5 hours), Microwaves: January - May, 2017, 11:00-1:15 (2 hours per shift), & Campbell's Soup Labels  Back to School Gifts Please see the office if your child did not receive the PTC gift at Back to School Night. St. Bernard's pendants and pencils were given out.  One pendant and two pencils per student please.   Hair Bow Sale: Bows are still available for purchase at the office.  While supplies last.   Used Uniform Closet Don't forget to check out the closet!  Slightly used and worn uniform clothing at a great price!  Check with the office to gain access.
