Women's Centre Events

Monday, Sept 19, 10am-12pm
Participants in this workshop will explore women's issues and such concepts as sexism and patriarchy, and learn about Women's Centre's Work for Change efforts and initiatives. Part of the Women's Centre volunteer training series, and is open to the general public.

Monday, Sept 26, 10am-12pm
Learn how the Women's Centre works to celebrate diversity and fight oppression, both in our individual interactions and in broader society. This is part of the Women's Centre volunteer training series, and is open to the general public.

Monday, Sept 26, 6-8pm
Join us to cook and share a meal while talking about women's issues. In this workshop, we will be baking pie and discussing the issue of women's domestic work. Cooking, cleaning, and child care are common duties of domestic work for women around the world, and might look different across cultures. Let's explore these differences together!

*** No children in these workshops please.
