Pastor loses 160 pounds, shares story with others
KINGSPORT, Tenn. -- When Rev. Richie Hayes finally decided to lose weight, he went on a "farewell tour" of his favorite restaurants. "I love you," he said over his favorite meals at Waffle House, Harbor House, and Burger King. "Thank you, but this is goodbye."

Orphan rescue continues during Sudan crisis
ALCOA, Tenn. -- The plight of 36 orphaned children from South Sudan captured the praying hearts of Holstonians who read on Facebook about dangerous efforts to move them to safer ground. A prayer vigil and special offering to address the worsening crisis will be announced next week.
