The UAB School of Dentistry recently used the Kaizen platform developed by CCTS to create an online knowledge review game for residents in periodontics. The improvement in exam scores "floored" the program director, who plans to use the game again next year. An added bonus--students can learn clinical techniques before applying them to real patients.  More

NCATS Announces Funding for Repurposing Therapeutics 
This new UH2/UH3 award is to support pre-clinical studies to repurpose existing drugs or biologics that have already begun or completed a Phase I trial.
