Dear Parents,

Thank you for sharing your children with us this school year. We had a wonderful first week!  Please read the following regarding important issues and upcoming events.
  • Arrival and Dismissal information:
Thank you for your patience with our arrival and dismissal procedures.  To clear up any confusion, parents are always welcome to park behind the rectory and walk their child to school in the morning. You are also welcome to park behind the rectory in the afternoon and walk to the Veranda to pick up your child. What we cannot have is children being dropped off in areas other than our carpool line. Likewise, at dismissal, children are not allowed to walk unsupervised to cars that are parked on campus that are not in the carpool area. As stated previously, these measures are in place to protect your children. Students who live nearby are certainly able to walk to and from school, but we ask that you please fill out a walker form. These forms can be found in the office or you may ask your child's teacher to send one home with your student. Thanks again!
  • Student Management System:
Last year, The Archdiocese of Mobile adopted a new student management program to replace the currently used Solutions program. This program is called Rediker and is being implemented in every Catholic elementary school in Mobile and Baldwin counties. It is a very robust platform, with many exciting new features. We ask for your patience, as all of the schools had to close out the 2015-2016 school year before Archdiocesan representatives could begin merging information from Solutions to the new Rediker platform.  All of the K-8 schools are still in this process, but we hope to have the transition complete in the next few days. Please make plans to attend our Open House on August 30th to learn more about this program and how you can access your student's grades, assignments, newsletters, etc. Log in information  will be sent home with each family as soon as we have full access to the program.
  • Our 1st School Mass and Classroom Blessings
Our first school Mass is this Tuesday, August 23 at 8:15. Please join us as we celebrate The Mass of The Holy Spirit. Parents are always welcome at our school Masses, which are held every Tuesday at 8:15. Jr. High gentlemen, don't forget your uniform tie on Mass days! In keeping with the Catholic social justice theme of the Life and Dignity of the Human Person, we believe that every life is precious. We are going to celebrate that by honoring our students' birthdays every week after Mass. Students will be called to the front and we will sing Happy Birthday to the group. Tomorrow we will honor all birthdays from August 1st until August 27th. Next week it will be August 28-September 3rd, and so on. If your student has a summer birthday, no worries! They will be recognized before the year is over. In addition, this week after Mass, Father Zoghby and Father Boudreaux will be visiting the school to offer Classroom Blessings.

  • School Calendar
One exciting feature of our new Rediker program will be the use of a google calendar that will allow parents to easily keep track of our school events. Until then, please refer to the following condensed version of important dates and events.

  • Kiddie Mail/Cougar Connection
The school's primary way to communicate with parents is through Cougar Connection, previously  known as Kiddie Mail.  The "Cougar Connection" system is used to send messages home from the school office on the first and third Monday of the month. Cougar Connection information is also posted on the school's website. We welcome parents to submit items for consideration to be included in Cougar Connection. All items to be included  must be submitted to the school office on, or before, the Thursday before distribution. Items will not be accepted after the Thursday deadline. Instead, they will simply will be held for the following mailing of Cougar Connection. Items will be approved for inclusion in Cougar Connection if the items are deemed to substantially benefit and not conflict with student involvement in School, Parish, and Archdiocesan activities. Items must also benefit the students academically, athletically, artistically, or spiritually. Other items that are automatically approved for inclusion in Cougar Connection are  items that are official school business, and  items regarding approved fundraising programs. Look for our first Cougar Connection messages later today!
