Congratulations on surviving the first week of school! We hope everyone had a fantastic week and are starting to settle into your new school routines!

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped out at our Welcome Back Coffee!

In this newsletter edition, you'll find information on school happenings, after school programs and other fun stuff.

General PTA Association Meeting

The first General PTA Association Meeting will take place on Wednesday, August 31st in the Multi-Purpose Room (this is a change from the previously noted location) from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Attending PTA meetings is a great way to hear what's happening within the PTA, express your thoughts and ideas and also meet new people who are equally passionate about Walnut Grove!

At this meeting, we will focus on finalizing our budget and approving the calendar, as well as other important topics.

We hope to see you there!

Yearbook Photos

Would you like your photos in the in the yearbook? We are always in search of fun photos for our yearbook and welcome your photo submissions throughout this school year.

In addition to our classroom yearbook rep, we are now offering an easy, convenient way for everyone to submit photos for yearbook consideration. You can share photos of field trips, classroom events, school and community activities or shots of your children and their friends that might otherwise be missed by our class yearbook reps.

4th Grade Coloma Fundraiser

Save the Date - Friday, October 14th

for a 9 Hole Scramble Golf Tournament at Pleasanton Golf Center

Registration for this event opens online on Monday, August 22nd at 9:00 am, by clicking here.

Proceeds will be used to support the 4th Grade Coloma trip including buses, chaperones, substitutes, & T-Shirts. Sponsorship opportunities are available.

Also, to all Fourth Grade Families, it is now possible to pay your $275 donation for Coloma online. Click here for the link to pay. The Coloma Committee is hoping to have all donations made by September 15th .
