Here's the latest news from St. Austin Catholic Parish!
UT Game Day Parking this Sunday

As many of you already know, our parking garage at 500 W Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd. is usually open for UT Game Day parking at a rate of $15 per vehicle. This weekend's game against Notre Dame is the first Sunday football game since we began offering event parking. We will begin to sell Game Day parking after the 11:30 a.m. Mass this Sunday.

To manage our Game Day parking and 5:30 p.m. Mass parking, we ask the following:
  • If you are attending only the Sunday 5:30 p.m. Mass, please plan to park behind the church. The blacktop area, the spaces around the blacktop and the spaces under the gym will be available to those who are only attending 5:30 p.m. Mass.
  • If/when the parking behind the church is full, parishioners attending only the 5:30 p.m. Mass will be allowed to park in the garage for free.
  • If you are planning to park at St. Austin, attend 5:30 p.m. Mass, and then walk to the football game, we ask that you be considerate of others who are only attending Mass and please pay for football parking in the garage.

Thank you for your understanding and flexibility this Sunday! Also special thanks to our Boy Scout Troop 34, who staffs our Game Day parking each fall as a service project -- we couldn't do it without these great young men!
