561 Züm Queen Street West service starts September 6
The City of Brampton is excited to celebrate the completion of its $285 million Züm project - a bus rapid transit service made possible in partnership with the Federal and Provincial Governments. The launch of Züm Queen West on September 6, 2016 marks the final milestone of this project. Route 561 Züm Queen West  connects the Downtown Terminal to Mount Pleasant GO station.
 
Efficient, reliable transit modes that easily connect people to places is key to creating a future ready Brampton. The Züm project is a building block for the Queen Street Rapid Transit Master Plan, plus links to other City initiatives including downtown revitalization, economic development, tourism and more.

Brampton closer to two-way, all-day GO train service
With a new agreement-in-principle between Metrolinx and CN Rail, plans are in place for a GO Regional Express Rail to be built along the Kitchener GO corridor, meaning more GO service capacity for Brampton. [more...]
