Dear FJG Family,
It's been a pleasure hosting the morning coffee sessions. I have very much enjoyed spending time with our outstanding managers. This month, I had the opportunity to meet with six Community Managers; namely, Samantha Wallace at The Pointe at Pickett Farm, Niketa Washington at Sharps Landing, Karen Henderson at SouthWind, Heather Niegos at Tanglewood Lake, Aurelia Vaughn at Catalina Crossing, and Seneca Lynn at Waterford Pointe.
During the morning coffee sessions, I received many ideas and suggestions for ways to improve our company for the future. All of the ideas are being considered and we will do our best to implement most of them throughout 2017.
I look forward to seeing everyone this fall. Thank you for all you do for The Franklin Johnston Group.

BACK TO SCHOOL
Operation School Supplies was a success! Thank you to all of our community team members for your help on purchasing backpacks and school supplies for more than 1,500+ children who call TFJG apartment community their home. This is TFJG's 3rd annual Operation School Supplies. During the first couple of weeks in August communities hosted a Back to School Bash resident event party and handed out backpacks filled with the tools necessary for a successful school year. On behalf of the entire TFJG team, we wish all a wonderful school year!

CAUGHT IN THE ACT
Team Member Fallon Birch of Summer House Apartments in Virginia Beach has been caught in the act of going above and beyond for a resident that was looking to move in the Hampton Roads area. The resident wrote a very kind letter that said,
"Fallon Birch has tirelessly helped me ever since I started looking for a new place to live two months ago. Over e-mails, phone, and on the tour of Summer House, I found she was a pleasure to work with. She has been polite, cheerful, professional, courteous, funny, and knowledgeable about the property. I have talked with the property managers at the Mayflower, Aqua, and many other Hampton Roads... trust me when I say that you have the best agent working with you. When I was trying to decide whether to move into Aqua or Summer House, Fallon was actually a top selling point that made me want to live at Summer House apartments."

United Way - DAY OF CARING
United Way's Day of Caring will be held this year on Friday, September 9th. TFJG will send several volunteers to Norfolk to participate at ForKids,Inc. and with the
Norfolk Redevelopment & Housing Authority at Young Terrace to help with landscaping, painting, general clean up, and more! TFJG has 38 spots to fill throughout the day - some are morning shifts, some are afternoon. Plan accordingly now so that several team members from your department or site can participate!
