Our Whole Lives Information Meeting this Sunday, 8/21
We are offering the Our Whole Lives Sexuality Education program in the upcoming 2016-2017 RE year
. OWL is a series of curricula for different age groups and helps youth make informed and responsible decisions about their sexual health and behavior. UUSS will have OWL for children/youth in grades 4, 5 & 6 and another class for grades 7, 8 & 9. Come to the information meeting this Sunday, August 21 at noon in the Fahs classroom. A mandatory parent/guardian orientation will follow on later dates. Contact [email protected] for more information and to reserve your spot.
2 ArtWorks days left!
Summer RE ArtWorks continues this weekend and wraps up for the final time this summer on August 28. Children and youth of all ages are invited to be together in a multi-generational atmosphere. ArtWorks takes place in Room 7/8 of the education wing. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday morning!
Upcoming 2016-2017 Religious Education (RE) year!
Regular RE programming begins Sunday, September 18.
-Room 11 Nursery is staffed for infants and children in preschool.
-Spirit Play for young children in Transitional Kinder through 2nd grade in Room 10.
-Our Junior High Youth Group or JHYG for 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in Room 6.
-Youth in grades 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th attend the Senior High Youth Group or SHYG in the last room of the education wing in Room 12.
