Dear Friends in Christ,
    
Salt has a bite to it.  If it didn't, it would be worthless.  And we are not referring to the salt that is used in the kitchen.  The salt the Jesus talks about is the salt that impacts the sinful flesh with the restoring Word of the Gospel of Christ.

Worship at 8:00am or 10:30am 
Education Hour for all ages at 9:15am.  

Potluck 11:45am
We'll provide chicken and hamburgers.  Bring a dish to share.  

Games extend into the early afternoon.  Kites, water balloons, music, giant games, bouncy house, races, egg toss.  Fun for the whole family!

EVANGELISM POINTS


There is fear in sharing the Gospel: What will people think of me? Will I say the right thing? Will they reject me? Will they think I am one of those crazy Christians? Instead of placing so much stock in our own reputations or words, let us instead remember John's words: "There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love. We love because He first loved us" (1 John 4:18-19).    More

Here are some simple ways to help you share the awesome power of the Gospel.

 

2. Admit your sins.


Confessing the truth from 1 John 1:8 is another way to witness: "If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us."

 

Admitting that you, as a Christian, still struggle with sin is a powerful witness. Many outside the Church imagine her people to be hypocrites. Sharing your struggles shows the power of Jesus. It is the quickest way to share how in our weakness He is stronger.

Help Wanted at TLO School

We are looking for a fun, energetic adult or teenager to help with our Extended Care Services.  We are looking for someone available from 3:00-6:00pm on weekdays, one day per week or all five. This person would be supervising grade school children playing, helping with snack time, and homework. Please contact Paula at 612-747-5265 if you are interested!



Garden Club and Trustees Thank you!

We would like to thank everyone who generously donated to the restoration of the two garden areas by the south steps.  We are now ready to begin the transformation to create an inviting entry to our Church and School.  Please continue to pray that God will guide us with good judgment and willingness to serve Him.
