follows enigmatic candy manufacturer Willy Wonka as he stages a contest by hiding golden tickets in five of his scrumptious candy bars. Whomever comes up with these tickets will win a free tour of the Wonka factory, as well as a lifetime supply of candy. Four of the five winning children are insufferable brats, but the fifth is a likeable young lad named Charlie Bucket, who takes the tour in the company of his equally amiable grandfather. The children must learn to follow Mr. Wonka's rules in the factory - or suffer the consequences.

We are looking for a 25 Cast performers, students in grades 2*, 3, 4 and 25 Chorus members in grades K - 2. (*Please note that the cast script requires students to be strong independent readers, particularly if in 2
nd
grade.)
Weekly rehearsals
for the CAST will be on Tuesdays 4:00 - 5:30 pm for Blocking AND Wednesdays, 4:00 - 5:30 pm for Music. Rehearsals will run through October 26.
The CHORUS will meet in the DPM auditorium on Wednesdays from 3:15 - 4:00 pm, on October 5, 12, 19, and 26. Chorus students will be required to attend dress rehearsal on Tuesday, November 1 from 4:00 - 6:00 pm.

In the event that the cast and chorus fills, we will be working with students on the waitlist to try to accommodate interested students. Please be sure to add your child to the waitlist.
Students registered for the CAST will audition for role placement on Tuesday, September 6 from 4:00 - 5:30 pm in the DPM Auditorium. All cast members will meet starting on Wednesday, September 7 for music practice from 4:00-5:30 pm.

will be held on Tuesday, November 1

Full payment is required to process your registration. No refunds on drama or musical performances made after a student has auditioned. Registrations canceled before auditions will be returned minus a $25 processing fee.
