This Sunday we welcome guest preacher and celebrant the Rev. Nancy Gossling
The Rev. Nancy Gossling will join us this Sunday as our guest preacher and celebrant while our Co-Rectors are away.

Nancy spent most of her ministry as a priest in the Diocese of Connecticut. She recently moved to Cambridge and while she discerns the next step in her ministry has been serving as a supply priest throughout the Diocese.

Paul and Cheryl met her for the first time at an Alewife Deanery meeting last fall that All Saints' hosted. She walked in and saw that we were raising money for the January trip to Haiti. Before the evening was through she handed us a VERY generous gift toward the trip! It was such a blessing and so encouraging to us.

She is a wonderful preacher, so this Sunday is not to be missed!

Paul will be leading a family retreat weekend for the Army National Guard. Cheryl is Denver for the week working on projects for the Godly Play Foundation and leading an Advanced Godly Play Training at St. Gabriel's in Denver.

Our Montessori Pre-school received a license to operate today!

After a tumultuous spring and summer of renovations and difficulties with the town, we received the long-anticipated visit from the Early Childhood Licensing Board inspector today. We are pleased to report that we were awarded a license to operate!

Even better, since we showed the inspector such a beautiful and complete school, he issued the Director a license for two full years - the max he can issue!!

The school is set to open on September 7th!

Kathie Zemke, our Admin. Assistant
is stepping down.

This week Kathie Zemke, our part-time Administrative Assistant, made the decision to leave her position for health related reasons. Her last day will be Wednesday, August 17.

We will not be immediately advertising for a replacement, as the fall is generally too busy a time to train someone new. However, if you know someone who might be a good fit, be sure to speak to Cheryl or Paul.

A Note from Kathie
I have thoroughly enjoyed working at All Saints'
for the past six months, and have very much appreciated the kindness shown to me by all of you. I pray that God continues to richly bless this church and its people.

Summer Bulletin Board: Add to the Fun
Check out the bulletin board to see snippets of vacation fun sent by Fran and Ian, Audrey, and the Minor family.

Please share a bit of your summer fun with the rest of us, too.  Either print out a photo of a summer outing and pin it to the bulletin board outside the kitchen, or email the photo to Kathie at [email protected] and she will print it out and pin it to the board.

You can also send us a postcard from your summer adventures and we will add it to the board.

We are a community gathered to find our story in God's story and the courage to talk about it.

Our purpose
is to know Jesus Christ and to make him known.

Our vision is to be a center of Anglicanism within the Episcopal Church.

Our mission is to communicate the universal church's witness to Jesus within the congregation and to the world thereby making disciples of Jesus Christ who personally know Jesus and strive to make him known.
