During our 2016 Agency Roadshows, we outlined a new strategy of consolidating our product offerings to simplify the user experience for agents and policyholders.

Currently, CSE Insurance Group writes California Auto business in two companies: CSE Insurance Company ("CSE ICO") and CSE Safeguard Company. Effective 9/1/2016, we will be turning off CSE Insurance Company ("CSE ICO") for new Auto business production in California. This change has no impact on CSE Insurance Company's renewal business.

Our CSE Safeguard Auto product has been updated to meet the needs of the preferred marketplace with its enhanced features and competitive rates.

For new applications and quotes that have been created before 9/1/2016, CSE will honor those with an effective date before 9/30/2016.

• Only impacts "CSE ICO" for Auto new business in California
• Existing policies may continue to renew in "CSE ICO" -- renewals will not be affected!
• "CSE ICO" will no longer be available on comparative raters such as EZLynx and FSC after 8/31
• No new business for "CSE ICO" Auto will be generated/quoted in SPInn after 8/31
• Quotes and applications created before 9/1 that have not been issued to policy by that day will be honored until 9/30. However, the term effective date of these policies needs to be 9/30/2016 or earlier
• CSE will honor any policy issued before 9/1 even if those policies have effective dates after 9/30

The difference between our ICO and Safeguard Auto products is very minimal. The coverage options and overall features have converged in recent years, making this transition a smooth one. This is precisely why we're simply moving to a single "CSE Auto product" for new business.
