WATER BILL DUE DATE EXTENDED

Water bills are due August 27, but Mayor Ritter has announced that the city of Youngsville will extend the due date to September 15.
FREE TETANUS SHOTS FROM DEPARTMENT OF 
 HEALTH & HOSPITALS

The Department of Health & Hospitals will be at City Hall Monday, August 22 from 10am - 2pm giving free tetanus shots to everyone.   All residents affected by flood waters are urged to take this proactive step to ensure they are adequately protected against tetanus.  
HAVE QUESTIONS ABOUT DISASTER RECOVERY & RELIEF?

A representative from the Office of Congressman Charles Boustany will be at City Hall Monday, August 22 from 10am - 2pm to answer any questions regarding disaster recovery and relief.  Come by and learn about all the options available to help you and your family recover quickly.
IMPORTANT: HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT 
 FOR DISASTER DEBRIS PICKUP
Youngsville residents will be requested to sign an electronic hold harmless agreement if there is a need to access debris on private property.  A majority of the homes in Highland Ridge subdivision will require access to private property. There are several options to submit this form: You can stop by City Hall; find us in Highland Ridge walking door-to-door; submit online via the following link  here.
U.S. MAIL SERVICE HAS RESUMED

Great news!  U.S. mail service has resumed in the City of Youngsville!
RUFFINO'S TO FEED FLOOD VICTIMS AT THE 
 YOUNGSVILLE SPORTS COMPLEX!

Come out to the Youngsville Sports Complex Sunday, August 21, from 5pm - 7pm and enjoy complimentary meals for all flood victims, first responders and volunteers from 
Ruffino's on the River!  
FEEZO'S TO RETURN TOMORROW FRIDAY, AUGUST 19 TO FEED FLOOD VICTIMS FOR LUNCH!

Feezo's truck will be located at Ernest Gallet Elementary School and will be distributing complimentary lunch tomorrow from 11am - 2pm.  Lunch will be provided for all flood victims, first responders and volunteers.  A big thank you to Fezzo's for coming out today and providing lunch as well!  
DONATIONS NEEDED FOR YOUNGSVILLE RESIDENTS
Youngsville residents, if you are in need of clothes, cleaning supplies, baby items, etc. please stop by the Youngsville Center at 727 Young St. Friday from 10am - 7pm.  Starting Saturday at 10am, the NEW location will be Bead Busters 2034 Bonin Rd. in Youngsville.  This location will be accepting donations and would like to request:
Cleaning supplies
Bleach
Water
Wipes
Diapers
Formula
Laundry detergent
Non perishable food items
Toilet paper
Paper towels
School supplies
Their supply is running low and they would like to restock. Also, they currently have plenty of clothes for distribution and will not need any additional clothes at this time.
