IT Work Day!
We need your help! The Technology team will have a work day tomorrow, Aug. 20 beginning at 9 a.m. No experience is necessary, just willing hands!
KEY Class

All third graders (fourth and fifth graders who have not completed the KEY class in the past are also welcome) are invited to participate in our KEY Class program that is designed to prepare them for meaningful worship with their families. The KEY Class (Knowledge Empowers You) will unlock the meaning of worship and discuss the impact it can have on their lives. Children of these ages should receive a letter and registration form explaining the class. The KEY Class will begin this Sunday, Aug. 21, and will end on Oct. 4. Students will learn about key aspects of worship, how to use their bibles, and develop their relationship with Christ.

Students will be dropped off in room 236 prior to the 8:45 a.m. service and parents may pick them up in room 214. If children are staying for Sunday school, please make sure you specify that at sign-in.

We hope that all of our children will participate in some part of worship. It is our hope that all of our little loved ones will experience the love of Jesus and choose to continue a life filled with Christ. If you have any questions, or would like to get involved with Children's Church, please contact Children's Ministries at

A Note from Senior Pastor Mitch Houston

Dear Bethany Friends,  it is with regret that I officially inform you of the resignation of Ed Schneider our Music Ministries Director. Ed has been a valuable part of the ministry team at Bethany. The last Sunday that Ed will be at Bethany will be August 28. He will lead both services and he will also greet the congregation as they leave the service.
The Staff-Parish Relations Committee would like to present Ed with a "Love Offering" as a thank you for his years of service at Bethany. If you would like to contribute to the love offering, you may drop a check in the offering plate; place cash in an offering envelope, dropping it in the offering plate; or donate online through PushPay (text BethanyUMC to 77977). Whichever method you choose, please note "Love Offering for Ed Schneider" in the memo line. Thank you for all you do for Bethany.

Autumn Tea Room
Autumn Tea Room Oct. 3 - 14
It's that time of year once again to "Think Tea"! Six weeks from now, Bethany's 11th annual Autumn Tea Room will open its doors to the community and there are so many ways to help, even if you can't be there during Tea Room hours. The information center/sign-up boards are now on display in the hallway outside the Fellowship Hall.

Our motto: Funding Through Fellowship. All profits go to missions! We invite the entire community to help in this fundraising effort by inviting them to come dine and shop with their friends, family and co-workers

Thank You Board

We have seen lots of good ones added this week! Pens are paper are in the basket below the board. Put something up there today!
