The Fight for $15 Goes to College
For years, fast food and childcare workers have been fighting for a living wage. Adjunct faculty and other college workers are joining this expanding movement for all underpaid workers!

Working together, we can improve the salary and working conditions for part-time members.  Join workers and supporters on April 14 as they stand up against poverty wages that hurt workers and our communities!  The 4Cs invites you to join other workers to highlight the Fight for $15 movement at a rally at the Legislative Office Building at 4pm.

Please see a flyer about the event.

4Cs Fights Policy Decision at Middlesex
Last week, a memorandum was distributed at Middlesex that outlined reporting procedures for part-time faculty, extension credit lecturers, and full-time faculty that teach overload courses. In the memo, it stated that "since you do not accrue paid time off, such instances will result in a reduction to the biweekly amount received for teaching the course(s)."

This policy violates the 4Cs contract, and with quick action, we  made sure the letter to faculty would be withdrawn
