4Cs Fights Policy Decision at Middlesex
Last week, a memorandum was distributed at Middlesex that outlined reporting procedures for part-time faculty, extension credit lecturers, and full-time faculty that teach overload courses. In the memo, it stated that "since you do not accrue paid time off, such instances will result in a reduction to the biweekly amount received for teaching the course(s)."
This policy violates the 4Cs contract, and with quick action, we
made sure the letter to faculty would be withdrawn.
