NEW!
Monday's Dropping Off or Escorting Children Into the Building
Children will report directly to their classrooms on Monday. If pulling along the curb to drop off your children next week, or if parking and walking you children into the building, please enter the parking lot through the
north entrance closest to the Red Building. Entering through the entrance closest to Lovejoy, slows traffic as those parents using the north entrance must yield to the traffic. This results in congestion on Country Club. We will have someone stationed at the entrance closest to Lovejoy, directing you to the north entrance.
Only buses and day car vehicles will be allowed to use the entrance south of Lovejoy Elementary. Another option is to enter through the church lot north of Lovejoy. This helps with traffic on Country Club as well. Thank you in advance for having patience with us this first week.
NEW!
Afternoon Car Riders
If your child is a car rider, we'll begin taking numbers as soon as we have arrivals. When the curb is full, the line will make its way through the church lot next door.
To make life easier, you may enter through the church lot and pull behind the last car in line. Thank you in advance for having patience with us this first week.
NEW!
Afternoon Walker Pick Up
Due to the increase in number of parents picking their children up in the library, we will beginning a new procedure. For the safety of our students, we are asking all parents to bring their "yellow" car tag with them. Parents will stand outside of the library door, a teacher will greet you, see your number, and then will retrieve your child. We are asking parents to wait outside of the library doors. Thank you for your patience as we try our new procedure.

Character Education Assembly
Get ready for Dennis Lee and his puppet friends! They are back again this year with a brand new show called "Lite As a Feather." As part of our ongoing commitment to instill strong character values in our children, Dennis Lee and his puppets will bring our Six Pillars of Character to life and help us kick off a great school year! Through his engaging presentation with his zany cast of ventriloquist characters, he gently teaches and reminds us to have strength of character and disciplined behavior. The assembly will begin at 1:45 in the gym. We are excited for a new year of growing not only the minds, but also the hearts of our students!
