Students Volunteer at Back-to-School Health Fair



Third- and fourth-year medical students volunteered at the annual Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital Back to School Health Fair on August 13. The students assisted with obtaining histories, did physicals with our supervision, completed documentation, provided translation services and myriad other functions to ensure that patients were seen efficiently and safely. About 11 of the fourth years plan to continue on to pediatrics.
Class of 2020 Welcomed at BRRH



T he Class of 2020 was welcomed and received orientation by the staff at Boca Raton Regional Hospital (BRRH) on Friday, August 12. The students will attend several clinical experiences and clerkships at BRRH for the next four years while attending FAU College of Medicine.

Congratulations to College of Medicin e student,  Rishabh  Jethanandani whose  article, entitled "Biomechanical Consequences of Anterior Femoral Notching in Cruciate-Retaining vs. Posterior-Stabilized Total Knee Arthroplasty," was just published in the American Journal of Orthopedics .
