CCPA Purchasing Partners Restructuring Update
CCPAPP is very close to achieving the number of votes required to pursue the restructuring of our organization from a Limited Partnership (LP) to a Limited Liability Company (LLC). We thank all of the practices that have returned their ballots. For practices that have not yet voted, please do so at your earliest opportunity. If you have questions regarding this exciting initiative, please read the restructuring communication sent by CCPAPP. Thank you for your support!
Reminder for Vaccine Contracting & Compliance Forms
Please be reminded that all members must complete and submit CCPAPP's 2016
Vaccine Contracting & Compliance Form
. The new form includes all of CCPAPP's vaccine vendors and must be completed to confirm or decline participation in any of the vaccine agreements. Practices that do not return the updated form may be removed from CCPAPP's vaccine contracting program. To learn more about CCPAPP's vaccine contracting program, please view CCPAPP's Vaccine Contracting Guide found on the Vaccine Forms page of our website.
Merck Vaccines Indirect Purchasing Option
As recently communicated, Merck is now offering the option of indirect vaccine purchasing through any of its Prime Distributors, including McKesson. When purchasing Merck vaccines through a Merck Vaccine Prime Distributor, members will receive CCPAPP's contracted pricing. Although there are no penalties and no additional steps necessary to receive CCPAPP's contracted pricing when ordering Merck vaccines through a Merck Vaccine Prime Distributor; please be sure to confirm pricing with your distributor prior to placing an order. Please review CCPAPP's recent communication for more information as well as answers to questions you may have regarding this new purchasing option.
Sanofi Pasteur Price Updates
Pfizer Update Including News, TV Ad, and Resources
As a result of the recent meningitis outbreak at Rutgers University, the New Jersey Department of Health and Rutgers University have made a Meningococcal serogroup B vaccine recommendation with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The recommendation advises that certain populations receive the vaccine series.

In an effort to prevent future outbreaks, Pfizer recently launched a 60-second, branded television ad in Chicago which will run through mid-September 2016. The ad is intended to help parents of adolescents understand the importance of talking to their children's doctor about vaccination against meningitis B. The ad also discusses Pfizer's vaccine option of Trumenba. Please be sure to view
Pfizer's TV Ad if you have not done so already. In addition to the branded TV ad, Pfizer offers resources for healthcare providers and patients to help educate them about meningitis B and Trumenba.
