If you're a high school student and enjoy helping others, getting involved in your community, and just want to help make the world a better place, then the Folsom Teen Council needs you! This enthusiastic and dedicated group volunteers throughout the school year at a variety of Folsom Parks & Recreation special events, including the Folsom Glow Run, Renaissance Faire, Zoo Sanctuary's Holiday Lights, and more. The group also assists students in the STARS program at Theodore Judah Elementary School. The first meeting of the Folsom Teen Council takes place 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 15; the meeting will be catered by Chipotle! Regular monthly meetings are held the first Thursday of the month, starting in October and ending in May. Folsom teens may join at any time during the school year.
