News from the Office of Student Life
August & September 2016
Welcome to the new year at The Sage Colleges. For students who are new, this is the start of an exciting, and sometimes nerve wracking, adventure. To help make your transition to college life smoother, consider joining a club or organization where you will meet new friends with similar interests!

Stop by Freddie's Lounge in Albany to meet Kris Liebegott, Director of Student Activities at SCA, or McKinstry Student Center in Troy, to meet Diane Angrisano, Director of Student Activities at RSC, for more information on all the clubs and organizations at Sage.
"Be. Know. Do. MORE": Students in Action

WELCOME BACK TO A NEW ACADEMIC YEAR AT THE SAGE COLLEGES!
As we kick-off Sage's Centennial year, let's take the time to acknowledge the students who are living Sage's motto everyday: "Be. Know. Do. MORE."
Brooklyn Esposito (above left) currently serves as the Volunteer Coordinator for Capital Roots, an organization whose mission is to nourish healthy communities by providing access to fresh food and green spaces for all. As a student in the Nutrition program at Russell Sage, she works to connect both students and faculty to volunteer and intern opportunities within the Food Access programs initiated by Capital Roots while also increasing combined efforts to aid those lacking food security in the Capital Region.
The Sage College's senior softball player Morgan Dunn (above right) was named to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division III All-America Third-Team at third base in conjunction with the 2016 NCAA Division III College World Series Banquet on Wednesday evening. Dunn becomes the first female student-athlete and just the second Sage student-athlete to be named an All-American. This honor comes just one week after being named to the 2016 NFCA Division III Northeast Region First-Team, another Sage first.
