Bay Street Film Festival
The Bay Street Film Festival screens "Films For The People" that expose the audience to elements of social justice, community activism, human rights, the environment and other themes explored through film.
The Festival serves as a showcase for films made in Northwest Ontario as well as many International and Canadian films.  The Festival is an annual event that has screened hundreds of films to thousands of Thunder Bay residents and visitors over the years.  In addition to viewing the diverse collection of films and videos, audiences also have the opportunity to speak with the filmmakers who come to join us for their screening.
Oktoberfest

Saturday September 24

The 4th annual Thunder Bay Octoberfest has already been named one of Canada's top 11 by The Huffington Post.  This year will prove to be even bigger and better than prior events. This year Octoberfest is expanding to a full day event incorporating Beer and Brawn to engage and delight visitors.  Daytime activities begin at 11am at the CLE.  The evening dance part gets underway at 6:00pm with live entertainment by the Polka Pirates and the Green Bank trio.  Tickets are $20.
 
Exploring Our Routes

The City of Thunder Bay is proud to present Exploring Our Routes on  September 18, 2016, 12 noon-4pm at County Park!

Exploring our Routes is a community event designed to promote active living, outdoor recreation, local food and family fun by exploring the walking/biking paths in a different neighbourhood every September. Spend a fun-filled September afternoon discovering

Million Dollar Quartet

Based on a legendary night on December 4, 1956 when rock 'n' roll icons Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Johnny Cash participated in a star-studded jam session at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee. This smash-hit musical inspired by that famed recording session features a score of hits including "Blue Suede Shoes," "Great Balls of Fire," "Whole Lotta Shakin' Goin' On," "Hound Dog," " Who Do You Love?," and more.
