Haz it Harmonized or Hindered Compliance with Hazard Communication in the United States?
On March 26, 2012, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) amended the Hazard Communication (HazCom) Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200) in an effort to more closely align the United States requirements for hazard communication with the Globally Harmonized System for the Classification and Labeling of Chemicals (GHS) used by other world economies.
