PLUS, a consumer Expo, meals, entertainment and lots of people watching. An RV village in the middle of everything and camping areas for the truly tough Texans. This thing has been going on for 35 years now and it is a sight to behold.

Attend THE Clinic - 7pm Friday

Every year the Hotter 'N Hell Hundred offers a FREE clinic focused on helping cyclists have a good experience at their bike ride. Since hundreds of cyclists get into trouble every year cramping, bonking and dehydrating during the HHH, this clinic focuses on how to avoid those problems. So, if you have had problems in the past OR this is your first HHH, this clinic will help.
Camelbak - The REST of the Story

Do you own a Camelbak Hydration System? Did you know that the Camelbak was invented at the HHH in 1988? The picture at left is one of the first generation products that was released by Camelbak. I can remember how excited we cyclists were to have an alternative to a water bottle.

I can also remember strapping it onto the side of my backpacking frame and how many times I got stopped on the trails of Big Bend National Park by people asking "what is that?" and "where can I get one?"

Looking for a nice ride?

When I was in Wichita Falls for a clinic at The Endurance House, I was able to get in a bike ride with Roby Christie on the excellent trail network in Wichita Falls. If you are looking for a pleasant, gentle ride to loosen up those legs and get rid of some extra energy, check out their trails. Please remember that just before a big ride is the time to "taper" your intensity. Don't ride too long or too hard. Make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Enjoy the journey and live to ride another day.
